I just ran into both Entei and Raikou on the same route. Caught Entei with a pokeball on first attempt. It's a steel type. 

Deposited it into the PC

RIP Ivysaur, Charmeleon, Pichu, and Chansey

I caught a Shuckle.

It's a dragon type, and has 60 speed and 60 special defense.

It knows dragon rage.

FUCKING RAPE.

I remember waking  up early every morning as a kid and coming out to the family room to watch pokemon the on BIG TV.

As far back as I can remember, pokemon was my life. I can not properly describe how fucking excited I was to get my first video game console/handheld (GBA), and then finding out that it came with Pokemon crystal. My first video game ever was from pokemon series. I could be just like ash and train pikachus and battle and get gym badges and everything.

That moment when you get your first pokemon is so magical. So far there has been nothing in my life that has come close. I played the shit out of that game. It was one of my only games up until the GBA SP came out and I got pokemon saphire, which was AWESOME.

And then I got older, and continue to play the games but started to find that they're all kinda similar after a while.

I still play them and I still love them, but it's depressing when I stop to think how I'll never have that magic that I had with Crystal. Never again will I be able to turn on a pokemon for the first time and actually wonder what's in store for me, as far as plot goes.

Not hating on the newer games, but you guys probably understand what I'm getting at.

I keep trying nuzlockes and rom hacks and all these things to FRESHEN the experience because I can't let my mons go, but I continue to lose genuine interest in the series.

X and Y have a lot of potential, and I'm hoping that they live up to all the hype.

Growing up hurts.

If you're looking for a totally fresh childlike experience, you could probably try to stop following Gen VI news. Heck, I can put spoiler tags around any Gen VI stuff, or just not post about it in this thread.

If the whole Gen VI Pokedex ever gets leaked I probably won't look at it because that would kinda ruin it for me. I still feel like I can get a unique experience from just replaying the games I've beaten dozens of times. Maybe that's just me, I dunno.

If anything tho I think they would just change togepi to normal/fairy and togetic to fairy/flying

Togetic is a weird flying thing so I doubt it's gonna get another evo that's not too different from Togekiss, if at all

togekiss has good stats and all but I hate its design. Togetic looks much better imo.
