So it seems like pokemon fans are splitting into three groups now. The "Fuck this I'm not buying pokemons fuckin twelvie mega bullshit" group, the "omgzorzs fkin love Llamacario Blaziken best starter mega pokemon OP fite me" group and the ones that are like "O k let's see who else gets one and how it actually works".

Maybe we should post some of our pokesets that we think are cool. Here are a few of mine.
Sceptile, the 2quick 2stronk rape machine
Item: Flying Gem
Ability: Unburden
Moves: Acrobatics, Leaf Blade, Earthquake, Crunch
Dragonair, the 2quick rape machine
Item: Normal Gem
Ability: Shedskin
Moves: Extreme Speed, Thunder Wave, Dragon Dance, Outrage
Purpose: Give it max attack and Dragonair becomes great at scouting and finishing off weakened opponents.
Corsola, the bulky pretty pink rock THAT DON'T MOVE
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
Moves: Ingrain, Recover, Toxic, Whirlpool
Purpose: After sending it in and setting up ingrain, which will not allow you to switch out, Corsola just fucking wears the enemy team down. The x4 health regen plus super defense stat makes this thing great for stalling and killing the enemy with toxic. Whirlpool is great for trapping the enemy mon and allowing the toxic to take it's toll instead of risking your opponent switching in something that will kill you.
Flareon, the 2fast2quick 2stronk blitzkrieg rape machine of death and rape
Item: Toxic Orb
Ability: Guts
Moves: Facade, Quick Attack, Flame Charge, Flail
Purpose: Sweep. Your facade has a base power of 140, then a guts boost on top of that, once the poison kicks in. Works great if you have a healer such as Blissey or Roserade in your party, as you can cure the poisoning as well as set up leech seed for when you switch Flareon back in.
Also, Castform and Bellossom rape EVERYTHING together in a double battle. 100 damage STAB weaterball (with sunny day) and STAB Solarbeams. 2stronk.

I don't really into competitive so I'll post the team I used on Showdown before.
Froslass, quick really annoying impossible to hit thing
Item: Lum Berry
Ability: Snow Cloak
Moves: Ice Beam, Double Team, Attract, Thunder Wave
Purpose: Supposed to use Thunder Wave and Attract to be able to spam Double Team until it becomes impossible to hit but I never actually used that strategy and just spammed Ice Beam.
Lilligant, fast special attack sweeper
Item: Meadow Plate
Ability: Own Tempo
Moves: Sunny Day, Petal Dance, Sleep Power, Quiver Dance
Purpose: Murdering everything with Petal Dance. Hurray for Own Tempo!
Raichu, filler extraordinaire
Item: Air Balloon
Ability: Static
Moves: Thunderbolt, Grass Knot, Thunder Wave, Brick Break
Purpose: Coverage
Swampert, sleepy defensive special tank

Mawile, hungry physical sweeper
Item: Quick Claw
Ability: Intimidate

Moves: Shadow Ball, Pain Split, Psychic, Calm Mind

I pretty much just wanted to use a team of some of my favorite Pokemon and gave them the best sets I could think of. I also used Showdown's recommended EV's for all of them. I'm not really good at competitive.

OK guys I had an idea.
So if I remember correctly MOST of us have played at least the first generation of Pokemon, right?
Well what if we had a few nights to speed run it and see who could finish first? A Pokerace! We would have to plan the nights ahead so that we could all get together at the same time and whatnot, as well as discuss what emulator and particular rom we will be using. I dunno, I think it would be really neat to see how some of you INEXPERIENCED players do and it would be fun cuz Pokemanz and yeah.
