Re: Universal sandbox
In the core of New Phlagellum, a surviving nuclear reactor from the crushed spaceship melts down and heats up the core. Because of this, the mantle becomes partially melted, and tectonic plates begin to shift. Meanwhile, the North and South poles have mostly refrozen. Because of this, water levels have been lowered, exposing continental crust. Amazingly enough, the bodies from the ship have broken down and created fertile soil.

1 PGT (Post global thaw)
In the dark depths of the ocean, bacteria frozen in the ice of the glacier thaws. Soon it will begin it's ascent to the upper levels of the ocean where it can absorb sunlight. However, it will not make this journey alone, it will be joined by hundreds of others of it's kind.

412 PGT
The small species of Domus hooministae bacteria boomed once it reached oceanic levels where the nuclear activity from the spacecraft core of the planet were not dangerously high, and they evolved. They lost their quality of being heterotrophs (a quality that almost caused their extinction; they were eating each other with numbers so few), and gained the quality of being an autotroph. Their newfound ability of Chemosynthesis caused them to grow from single-celled consumers to multicelled producers; they became the first plants on New Phlagellum. The introduction of new nutrients and chemicals caused them to take on a greenish hue. The bacteria became Algus hominiasta, introducing the Kingdom of Plantae to New Phlagellum.
Despite the evolution of other Domus hooministae, there were two other groups of the species that remained. One of those two groups evolved, but the other did not and went extinct; they ate each other. The other Domus hooministae, however, evolved, and became the first multi-celled herbivores, Sepria fistus introducing the Kingdom Animalia to New Phlagellum.
1242, PGT
Algus hominiasta had not gone extinct, but had also evolved into many different types of plants. Some of these plants, in turn, had evolved into that of freshwater plants.
Sepria fistus, however, evolved into two different species: Sepria fiddlus and Calnavia chewiea. Sepria fiddlus were herbivores very similar to their fistus forefathers, however Calnavia chewiea were the first carnivores on New Phlagellum.

Re: Universal sandbox
A new solar system appears! It's called the Astrum system. The star is also called Astrum. The planets are covered with clouds of their respective colors. Only Kokkino is covered with volcanoes, only Grinadevata is able to support life (but it doesn't yet), and only Seihyo rotates around Astrum in a very non-circley oval.
The entire solar system is surrounded by a mysterious purple fog.
Took me a while to do this, actually. I was using paint.net for the first time (lol noob)

Suddenly, a powerfully magnetized planet system appears.
(sorry about the lack of depth and quality, I'm on my old computer and I think a lot of my old plugins aren't compatible with the new paint.net)

Re: Universal sandbox
The planet Allacia has reached its final hour. Its star, Saulis, is dying.
Quite literally, it's dying. 83 weeks ago, members of the United Races for Random Acts of Miscellaneous and Highly Destructive Science ("URRAMHDS: It's motherfucking science for fucks sake!") decided to launch a capsule filled with anaerobic, heat-resistant, hydrogen and helium loving archaebacteria right at their Main Sequence star.
Of course, the URRAMHDS didn't actually represent the scientific community; the group was, in fact, started by people from a website called 6Khan on the exothermic intranet. 6Khan readily destroyed all of Allacia's peaceful and harmonious society with their reasoning being "for the carbon dioxide based humor-blastery," which, of course, involved stealing all of the money from every living being on the planet. All of it. 6Khanians used this money to fund the operation, which they would rue in 3 weeks’ time.
You see, the archaebacteria did not die off in the sun, in fact, they evolved. They latched onto the hydrogen atoms, consumed the helium, and used the small bit of liquid carbon in the center to build a city.
Eventually, the bacteria became one great consciousness, in the form of the star. They began to talk to Allacia, which did not please 6Khan's self-proclaimed "ambiguous." Ambiguous claimed that the star was "so not heterosexual" and that the star should "go have intercourse with itself."
The bacteria were upset, and the Saulis expanded, becoming a red supergiant. Ceasing all communication with Allacia, the Bacterium Star began firing massive solar flares at Allacia, which overexerted the bacteria in the star.
They would not last much longer.
And then, it happened. The Archaebacteria could no longer take all of the energy, and they all burst.

Unfortunately, I have no idea where I was going with my above post.

I'm going to update the map sometime soon. Probably this weekend. I will then continue work with my planet even though I lost all of the files for it.
