I know many of you don't listen to music much, but for those of you that do, is there any music that is very much so grounded in a single season? For example, I pretty much almost exclusively listen to The Eraser, Modern Vampires of the City, and Shields in the fall/early winter, and there are many albums which I pretty much just listen to in the winter. This goes as well for the summer and spring; I listen to most of my hip hop during that time.

Re: Seasonal music?
I think summer and hip-hop go together very well.
1) A lot of hip-hop's foundations are in places where its hot, LA, Texas, Atlanta..
2) Its usually got a lot of energy, like a party scene. Parties happen during summer break, and most parties that involve people outside are during nice weather :)
I don't actually choose seasons to listen to music, but I find I listen to quite a bit more extroverted happy music during the summer and more introspective/depressing music during the winter when I'm inside more. Its interesting how that works.
From thanksgiving to christmas its almost all christmas music. The same 15 songs redone and redone and redone to death..but its a fun month.

Re: Seasonal music?
Yes, definitely. I was thinking about this recently, coincidentally.
I listen to Radiohead more in the Winter, especially Amnesiac. Shields goes with the time right around Halloween. The Eraser is also a winter album for me. Evil Friends is summer. I think I listen to more upbeat music in the summer.
Looking at those, it's probably because those are the times when I was first introduced to each album. But they also fit, at least for me.
