Since opinions change and it's been awhile, what are you guys' favorite bands and albums and such?

no one cares but i finally made another one of these.
"second tier classics" also includes the top row of "other favorites." it's getting to the point where i can't fit all of the records i love in the top two categories. it used to be that the top one was records i loved, the second one were records that i've been really enjoying from the past few months+records that didn't make the top category, and then the bottom category was records i like from my past+records i enjoyed in the past month. now there's none of that stuff, it's just records i've loved/have stayed with me.

my only previous exposure to the white stripes until like a month ago was seeing the music videos of fell in love with a girl and seven nation army when they charted and i was in like jr high (i remember they both blew my tiny little mind). as a result i only listened to elephant and white blood cells recently since those are the albums where i know at least one of those songs and i think i like white blood cells more personally. i don't listen to as much music as you do though so i'm not going to try to post a top whatever list

They're both fantastic albums, and which one I like more often depends on the day or my mood. The reason why Elephant usually makes it higher on the lists I make is that Elephant was more important to me back when I was super into the White Stripes.

i will say that the really good songs on elephant (esp. ball and biscuit) are a lot better than the songs on wbc but i like wbc more like on average

My favorites from Elephant are probably Black Math and In The Cold, Cold Night. The rest of the tracks are great too, though. I remember liking Ball and Biscuit quite a bit, but I'm having trouble remembering what most of it sounds like.
aaaaaaaaaand you've made me listen to Elephant again. First time in probably a good 4-6 months. I love this album.
