Re: What Choo Watchin II
Since you guys met me I have lost control of the remote control. Here are the shows my wife has decided that I like, and I actually set my phone down and pay attention to sometimes.. Don't judge me. Or judge me.
what shows do i like that i can blame on my wife?
The Mindy Project
Glee
Big Brother
Once Upon A Time
Masterchef
America's Got Talent, although we've kinda given up on it this year for now
That's the stuff I'm keeping up with. Also:
Orange Is The New Black because everyone told me to watch it but its kinda...not for me..
Deathnote, its short so i'm going slow.
Anything with Gordon Ramsey in it: Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, Hotel Hell, Masterchef Jr, some other stuff I don't remember.

Re: What Choo Watchin II
Just finished The Office. It was really great.
Now I think I'm going to watch through Avatar again. Such a great show.

I did watch through Avatar again (The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra), and I've been pretty much obsessed with it since. I'm watching The Legend of Korra another time, as well as experimenting with Psych. It's a solid show.
Any movie recommendations, guys?

Re: What Choo Watchin II
There's this group of people that hang out at suptv.org, they usually have some movie streaming and we all just watch what's on. I've seen a lot of good and bad movies there...here's a list of the movies I remember, some i'd seen before:
Good Burger
Air Force One
Natural Born Killer
Deadgirl
Out of Time
Cool Runnings
Bill and Ted
Kids
Reservoir Dogs
Some good ones in there, some not so good ones.

Reservoir Dogs is definitely a film I want to see. Other than that, I've seen Good Burger (though a long time ago) and Cool Runnings. Both enjoyable, fun films.
Bill and Tet is something I've been intending on seeing on a while but will probably never get around to watching.
I haven't heard of the other films.

Re: What Choo Watchin II
Survivor is back on, so is The Mindy Project and Once Upon A Time.
Besides that, I feel safe saying that I've seen nearly every episode of anything that's had Gordon Ramsay in it...but I don't "watch" those shows, I put them on then play on the computer and look up every 20 minutes or so to see what I missed.

I have been watching Futurama, Flight of the Conchords, and Community. I also recently watched a bunch of disney movies with my girlfriend; The Sword In The Stone (highly enjoyable), Mulan (fantastic), and Pocahontas (meh).

I just finished watching Gurren Lagann. It was reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally cheesy, but it was much better than I expected. The beginning of the show especially was fantastic, but it stayed really enjoyable to the end.

Yeah, they balance it between being a parody and a legitimately good anime really well. Same with Kill la Kill, you should watch that too if you haven't yet

Alright. I've been in the mood for anime lately, so I might check it out. Jazz is trying to get me to watch Fullmetal Alchemist as well, but I'm not really in the mood for anything supr srs.

Nah, I can, but at the time I wanted to focus on something else while half-watching television, and I couldn't do that with subbed anime. I'll still watch it eventually.

Re: What Choo Watchin II
In the past few days, I've watched Lost In Translation, Her, and Princess Mononoke, in that order. They were all pretty good, though I feel very conflicted about Her. Overall I'd rank them Lost In Translation (9.2) > Princess Mononoke (9.1) > Her (8.0).
