Re: what choo lisnin too the sequel, part 2
So yesterday I got a crazy notion, and I turned on pandora and went to some classical tunes.
Turns out that for a late night walk in the park Mozart has too much energy, Mozart seems like a grand time for celebrating, and would be perfect for a walk to work because of its hype-you-up attitude. Bach is too prim and proper for sitting in the dirt under a tree looking at the stars, and not really great for a walk to work at Taco Bell because of how proper it is...but Beethoven...
Beethoven will sit in the dirt with you and look at the stars and mourn how lonesome the universe is...it's beautiful, but so cold and distant.. Beethoven is my coolguya until further notice.

moonlight sonata is probably the most beautifully melancholy piece of music that i have ever heard. haunting doesn't begin to describe it.
also, my favorite beautifully melancholic songs in no particular order:
--Moonlight Sonata ("Piano Sonata No. 14") by Beethoven, especially movement 1
--"How To Disappear Completely" by Radiohead
--"(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay" by Otis Redding (more bittersweet than melancholy, but still beautiful)
--"Radio Cure" by Wilco (also "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart," "Reservations," and "Ashes of American Flags" from that same album)
--"John Wayne Gacy, Jr." by Sufjan Stevens
--"Sing About Me" by Kendrick Lamar
--"Svefn-g-englar" by Sigur Ros
--"Round the Bend" by Beck
--"In The Backseat" by Arcade Fire
These are all melancholic in different ways, so don't expect them to necessarily catch you like Beethoven.

Re: what choo lisnin too the sequel, part 2
At the gas and beer store I was talking to a guy who told me to go karaoke with him... I told him I didn't really do karaoke because the songs I like to karaoke are songs that aren't fit for a white man to sing. Some black guy was like "oh ya, what you listen to" i was like "2pac, dre, all kinds of other people who make music with words i shouldn't use" and he was like "damn right you shouldn't karaoke those songs" and i was like "i knowwwww" and he was like "u like hip hop doe?" i was like "yeah man" and he was like "here, check out this demo, its my little brother...lemme know if you like it"
So, I'm going to listen to this demo. Mr Flo$$y.
C'mon Mr Flo$$y, don't fail me now!
