So recently I'm been thinking of mod ideas to make minecraft really SPOOKY.
Here's what I've come up with.
-You spawn in your world normally
-Some sort of stalker monster thing also spawns a set but VERY FAR distance from your original spawn point
-There are no changes made beside that, you play normally
-The monster gets a litter closer each day. How far it travels is completely random, but is limited to a max number of blocks. (Possibly 500-600?)
-There are no warning signs as the monster gets closer to your spawn. It could be 50 blocks away and you wouldn't know it unless you SAW it
-When the monster is only a few thousand blocks from your spawn, it stops teleporting and moves at a consistent pace. (Same speed as player)
-If the monster arrives at your spawn and you are not there to confront it, then it will follow whatever path(s) you took block by block. So if you were to run around in circles for a minute before zipping off in a bee line, the monster will do exactly that. This does not account for you standing still. If you don't move then the monster will just make its way to you with no problem.
-The monster can be killed; doing so will get rid of it for good and you can play your game normally after that point.
-If the monster kills YOU, then the world is deleted. No fucking around.
Some other notes:
-Sleeping will reduce the amount of time it takes for the monster to reach you.
-If you are sleeping when the it gets to you, you will die automatically
-The monster can open doors to get to you. If you decide to be a smartass and not have any doors to your house or whatever, it will teleport behind you.
-Monster will always arrive at a random time. No stupid shit like with Herobrine mods.
-Monster does NOT have a shitload of health or attack points. This thing won't be a bitch to kill, but the player will have to be prepared in order to face it.
