I didn't mind the ending. I hope it didn't delete my world though.
I think the ending gives the players something to look forward too if they decide they want to beat the game. It also give Hardcore some substance-you'd have to be incredible to beat hardcore.

On Squidbit's server, Walkinator, Spackle_Box(TailsPrower), ArcticFox147, CSBuritto, and I stayed up late on Squidbit's server doing survival last night. It was pretty pimp. I built this bridge. It took me like 2 hours because of having to build platforms and shit below it, but that's okay. Our goal is to keep going until we have the materials to get to The End and fight the dragon :3
