Standing before you now are Zach and Jess. Both seem at least a year or two older than you, and have the height to show it. They're of a darker complexion than Jakob, but not exactly "black". More like a good tan, you guess. Both have similar bright, orange hair, almost unnaturally so. Probably the most peculiar thing about either of them is the apparent bandaging of the entire lower half of Zach's face and neck. The bandages are dark grey and seemingly damaged.

"Nah, I'm just kidding you. Just a few hours. Enough for me to finish your cane, and some other stuff."

"I fixed your phone to give you a map of the forest, as well as the ability to call the four of us, in case you get your ass kicked by more trees out in the forest and need some back-up."

He beckons for you to come outside. Now would be a pretty good time to check your gear, and maybe your map.

Seeing as how you really don't have any options, you just go ahead and follow him to where he's going. After the three of you head outside, you follow him up the stream (still not a normal stream) for a few minutes andjesuschristwhatisTHAT.
What you're seeing in front of you is what seems to be a towering crystal formation, bright blue in color. A stream is running around it, towards the way you came. On closer inspection of the stream as a whole, there is seemingly pure (as pure as riverwater gets) water flowing towards the crystal, and gasoline flowing in the other direction.
"Welcome, to the Everburn Ravine. I know you have a lot of questions, so let me go through them in the order I'd expect:
1:Why the fuck is this here? What is it? "Don't know, don't care. All I know is that these gems burn for what sure as hell seems like forever. It's probably a meteor or something like that."

Or maybe you're making shit up, you've gone quite a few hours in broad daylight with nothing to drink at all. All you know is, this is going to be a long day. Or few days, who knows.
