Pokemon General

Is there any gameboy I can get that would allow me to play all of the pokemon games? I haven't played since red/blue/yellow and I'm not sure if it's just nostalgia or what but I think it could be pretty fun to play the other games as well

A regular GameBoy Advance can play Generations 1-3.

A regular DS/DS lite can play Generations 3-5. (It has a slot for the Gen 3 GameBoy Advance games, but GameBoy Color cartridges don't work in them.)

Well you would just need a GameBoy/DS or a GBA/DS. You don't really need two Gameboys. Also 3DS's don't have a slot for GBA games. Only the original DS and original DS lite do, I believe.

Yeah you can get a used GBA for like $20

I'm considering starting a new game on my Platinum. Thing is, I have over 250 hours logged and 6 boxes full of mons, most of which I trained. I have mons that I've traded old friends for, like my Milotic which I love to death. I put so much into that game... it's not an easy reset.

I really want to START OVER but ALL OF THE MEMORIESSSSSSSSSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

What should I do? ;_;

You should buy a new copy.

That way you can keep your saved game on the good copy, and run through on a newer copy so you can save your rares :)

I put 400+ hours into Pokemon Emerald, and wanted to restart it

so I bought a used Pokemon Emerald cartridge off eBay

catching level 18 metapod and level 14 pinsir and I still can't win the fucking bug catching contest in Crystal.

I have over 300 hours on my Platinum game. I sometimes wonder how many hours there would be if I added up all the hours on all my pokémon games. Maybe I'll do that sometime.
Anyway I agree with the others; if you have the money buy a used copy so you can start a new game and keep the old one.
