OK yeah nvm my other post about Heart Gold, I think I got it working now.

Anyways, one of the things I like is how they clear up some of the little things that didn't really make sense in the original. For example, how the player somehow knew your rival's name despite him never mentioning it. What I don't really like is how for the most part they do this by just quick little OOPS, I FORGOT or something.
IE: Rival coming back to take his trainer card that you somehow acquired, or the town guide catching up to you to give you the town map after he gives you the running shoes the first time.

First gen was genetic themed

Second gen was mythology themed

Third gen was nature themed

Fourth gen was Culture themed

Fifth gen is based on opposites

Doing a playthrough of Pearl.

I can't decide if I want to do a team based on Dawn's from the anime... (Piplup, Buneary, Pachirisu, Mamoswine, Quilava, Togekiss)

Or do a random team of PINK, which would most likely include baby and undesirable pokemon.

My starter is Piplup, which I refuse to let evolve.

ACTUALLY CHANGE OF PLANS. I just realized that I have the right pokemon to recreate Dawn's team on my main Platinum game. (Don't want to cheat in order to get Quilava on Pearl)

What I think I'm going to do is challenge the elite 4 with said team and kick ass. Togekiss is part of my main team anyways, so fuck yes.

On Pearl I'm still deciding on TEAM PINK, or baby pokemon.

You get the Exp. Share and Fly pretty early into B/W 2.

Team 1 is Dawn's team: Refer to earlier in thread.

Team 2 is made up of two Pokemon from each of the three generations. It consists of:

Kanto: Pidgeot and Lapras

Johto: Houndoom and Pichu

Hoen: Absol and Beautifly (Or Salamance, if I can somehow obtain one)

I would have used my bitchin Milotic for Gen 3 but I have Lapras planned so yeah
