Re: what choo lisnin too the sequel
Sir, you like MSI?
Hold up. Um... not sure if me starting an MSI conversation here would be considered derailing. If it is, then...lemme know and I'll move our convo to a new thread.
MSI STORY TIME!
Back in 2003(sorry squeezy, skip away my friend) my wife and I had just met and she was a huuuge MSI fan. Back then their greatest achievement was Frankenstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy, and their hit song at the time was the one forbidden word here. [Derogatory word for homosexual, ending in "ot"] was their only claim to fame other than a cover of Bring The Pain by Wu Tang Clan. Anyway, we bonded over music and MSI became one of my favorite bands ever.
In 2004-5 they came to Portland at a shitty little venue called the Meow Meow. The Meow Meow has no chairs or seating, its meant for rocking and bouncing around. I first experienced a mosh pit here, with people knocking each other around and bloody noses..it was great. We danced and rocked and had good time, and thankfully they were underground enough that they went and mingled with the audience after the show. That's when I kissed Jimmy(the singer) because he kissed everybody who asked for a kiss.. I guess that means Andy(from my last tl;dr) wasn't my only boy kiss, this was my second and last boykiss. His prickly upper lip tickled a bit.
Also at this venue my little brother(really my brother-in-law, but fuck it..dude's my little brother <3 <3) asked Lynd-Z to bite his arm, and she said "Why would you want me to go and do a thing like that? *kiss arm lovingly, leaving a perfect lipstick print*" Oh it was a glorious thing to watch.. I was all like OH SHIT MY LITTLE BRO IS GETTIN KISSED BY THAT HOT FEMALE. WOOHOO.
Fast forward 2 years, they have now released "You'll Rebel To Anything" and we go to their show at this ooold theatre downtown called The Aladdin, with oldskool wooden theatre seats that were bolted to the ground. Tsk tsk... that's no place to host an MSI concert.. By the end of that concert we had destroyed the first 4 rows of antique seats that had been there a hundred years, we'd trashed the curtains, and even pulled Jimmy into the mosh pit when he leaned too close. We were outta control.
Cool side note, I know the girl who pulled him into the audience and we're still kinda friends today, even if it was my lil bro's ex.
After the show Jimmy mingled, and I asked for a kiss. He said "ehh, you got enough last time" and I was like "omfg he remembered me."
The next time they came to town was like 2009 and they'd just released "IF", we had to drive 3 hours to see them, and we took MDMA and had no desire to mosh. There was no mingling, and we left happy despite not knowing any of the songs because the CD had only been released a couple weeks earlier.

Just listened to Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones. I found Led Zeppelin III on my old iPod and so I'm probably going to listen to that next.

omg you should listen to the original too. You can get the whole thing on youtube.
Anyways, I'm listening to more of The Rolling Stones.
I have Let It Bleed and Sticky Fingers in a playlist. I don't feel like listening to Tattoo You or Emotional Rescue right now.

A bunch of old songs by The Beatles, including I Saw Her Standing There
i probably look like a hypocrite doing the above but look at the timestamps for Tateos' mega-combo-post compared to like 4 posts in a half hour for you, SL
