apparently I 'try too hard'

As all of you have noticed, I'm pretty out there in terms of weirdness. That carries into real life, and most people that don't know me well take that as trying to be funny. For example, I like to do things strictly to entertain myself. Sounds like horseshit, but it's true. This week I decided to paint one nail out of 10 on my hands this awesome shade of blame because well... it's an epic shade of blue. Legit. It's the perfect shade of gray-blue that I love. Though, of course people who find everything funny (like 1 or 2 in each class) make a big deal out of it, draw attention to me, and due to the comments I straight up hear and mixture of faces, I can tell others just think I'm trying to be funny as they do with anything else out of the ordinary that I happen to do. Now usually, this doesn't bother me because fuck them anyways if they think something stupid like that; but now other students in my class are complaining to teachers about me because I'm 'always trying to be weird and it's annoying'. The most recent complaint arose from my new My Little Pony shirt. I knew the shirt probably wouldn't be the best thing to wear in a school environment, but it IS my shirt and I like it so I decided I would wear it like any other shirt. If I let others know that I'm just wearing it as a shirt and not a LOOK AT ME I'M A BRONY kind of thing, then all would go well. Of course, one person notices it, and then everyone else does, and I'm totally the one who made a big deal to draw attention to it in the first place. I had a nice little chat with my Civics teacher today on how it's OK to be different, but don't let it distract others. -.-
