comparison of banners

so, I got bored and made this:

compare it to the current banner

so, obviously all I did was copy the image and put on an overlay. but just let me know what you think. (If they aren't the same size, I don't know why).

Eeh, maybe a different color. black and white looks better.

The blue reminds me of sonic, and this is a gaming forum. I mean we love each other and all that blahblahblah, but the main thing that brought us together was gaming. We try playing each other games and keeping up with that, so maybe sonic would be awesome?

Also, tat, if you still have the banner layers available I was thinking maybe a rotary phone would be awesome. One where you had to slide the thing around..



Side note, until I was 11 years old I used a phone like this. 1996 was the technological slide in my life :) Went from THAT to a computer with innernet. But yeah, old sk00 ftw.

And walk, you do a great job with art stuffs, keep it up mang :) I love that spirit.

damn, why is it always the wrong size.

All the images resize themselvesfor the forums... Somewhere in the loading process it should ask you what size and the default is sized for the forum. Have you tried changing the size? :)

Maybe for halloween we could have a banner showing that we are in fact an underground league of pigeon based justice?

We do. We did last year and I have plans to keep up that tradition. Development on the Christmas banner is in a conceptual phase right now.

not related to this thread but I didn't feel like finding the other one: We should change the text color for the stuff under the user icons (Posts, Points, Reputation, etc). It's black and blends in with the background.
