I don't really play video games because I am the most casual of all the casuals, but I suppose I can list a few from my childhood that I enjoyed.

Pokemon Crystal
Yoshi's Island
Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga

Then more recently there is Unholy Heights, which is currently probably one of my most played games besides TF2, which is only because of my various teams.

Updated list, in order
1. Dark souls: prepare to die edition
2. Kerbal space program
3. Guild Wars 2
4. skyrim redone 
(Because the skyrim redone mod is as close as you can get to dark souls gameplay in skyrim)
5. Sonic adventure 2
6. Kingdom hearts: chain of memories (specifically the dark Riku and Marluxia boss fights, because those are difficult in all of the best ways, the rest of the game is too easy for me, except for ansem, who is absurdly difficult to beat with 80 HP)
7. every guitar hero game after 3 (because the tapping mechanic is a good improvement)
8. guitar hero 3 (no tapping mechanic= you must strum with your fucking elbow during TTFATF)
9. Rock Band 3 (guitar hero controllers are objectively better because they don't break as easily)
10. rock band 2 (only has a couple songs challenging enough for me, especially since I don't consider visions to be a real song, it's too ugly)
11. super meat boy (This game is the most difficult game I've ever played, Even I have never beaten it)
12. guild wars (I'd never consider playing it again, but it was a great game, used to be my favorite. It holds a special place in my heart. Oh and forget what I said about super meat boy being the most difficult game I have ever played. Guild wars: nightfall, that shit is crazy difficult.)

damn, I forgot to put wind waker on the list. But wind waker is a bit too easy for me, even with only 3 hearts there were only 4 places that I actually died at. I totally recommend a 3 heart run, it makes the last boss fight super epic. I'd honestly put toon gannon up there as one of the most well designed boss fights ever. up there with Quelaag, Artorias, Dark Riku, and Marluxia.

I got to the very last light world level and gave up there.

If I had to make a list, it would probably be
