I swear I seriously wonder how people can like death grips. It seems that they're being obnoxious for the sake of being obnoxious, their music sounds bad and though most of their songs could probably get you hype I can't ever imagine listening to more than one in a row. Am I missing something? It seriously feels like I'm being subject to a joke that I don't get cause they're seriously so bad.

This is 100% not subjective in the slightest

For real tho, nothing is objectively good or bad, and what people get out of things is going to be different from person to person. Personally, I enjoy the raw emotion and unique sound that Death Grips bring to the table--songs like Birds and Inanimate Sensation really couldn't have been made by any other band. And, even when they sound like they could smoothly fit into any one genre, they do it really fucking well. For example, The Fever (Aye Aye) is pretty much industrial hip hop, but it manages to feel new. When the synths come in at the chorus, that's like the crispest shit you've ever heard.
