Simple things you miss.

I miss reading the updates to a manga called Medaka Box. It's completely silly but I enjoyed reading that every week.

Other simple things I miss: hanging out with my childhood best friend and walking around his community late at night just talking for hours. Some of the best talks ever..so simple, yet life-changing in hindsight.

i miss when life was simple and i didn't give two shits about my future. when i could finish my homework in 30 minutes and spend the rest of the day playing Halo 3 custom games with my bros. when college/a career wasn't a huge looming monster in my extremely near future.

I miss the cool houses I used to live in when we weren't so poor. Rip in piece backyards that aren't small stone squares.

No. I should have said that I miss being actively interested in Homestuck and coming up with theories about the future of the plot. I miss being that engaged in something that is complicated, intelligent, and humorous. I'm not sure exactly how I could force myself to want to go back and read a thousand pages to catch up while not being able to really do what I enjoyed most about reading that comic: contemplating what the fuck is going on with people who are as clueless as I am. Everyone I would talk to about the comic is either way behind me or way ahead.

Where are you in Homestuck?

Ahead of you. After [s]: Cascade. To be more descriptive, you can consider me immediately after Cascade because I skipped alpha kids stuff to read new updates and therefore am not really caught up, or you could consider me around the part with all the ghost shit because that is when i last stopped reading.
Then again, you could also consider me at the beginning of act 5 because I really only skimmed through the Troll's introductions so I could get to the most recent update as quickly as possible.

I suppose I could just do what I've done in the past and skim the fuck through so I could start speculating about future updates, but I don't really see the point because Homestuck is about to be over and the last update was almost two months ago, so people probably have slowed down with their crazy fan-theories.
