p.s. if i ever build a computer it's def. not going to have linux on it, and if i were to build it in 6 months from now i'd either put win7 or osx mavericks on it

Windows is for filthy casuals such as myself. 

I am planning on building my own at some point so I can get the XxSick HeadshotsxX with noscope lag in tf2. Everything about a Mac is ugly imo.

i've never actually owned a mac so i can't really say much about it, so i'll probably build a hackintosh when i get the money just so i can say i've tried all the OSes worth trying

I'm bad with computers. I have Windows 7.

Windows is for casual use, gaming and simple businesses.
Mac is for artists of all sorts, music editing, artwork, video editing etc
Linux is generally the more powerful OS and is pretty good if you're developing program software and such.

Also, if you were to build a computer you know you can dual boot it right? You can have Linux and Windows on the same computer, if you have the right version of Linux that will boot up first, then give you the choice to continue on in Linux or load up another OS.

I never owned a mac, but I had to use one at work back when I operated a website for a living.. Also, every time I'd go to my uncle's house he had a mac, so I'd use the mac to play civ 2. They aren't bad computers, I just prefer PC. I know how to troubleshoot a PC :)

dual booting is a pretty big pain in the ass to get working from my experiences since i only have one hard drive. then again for me dealing with grub/refind even to single boot is a shitty task that is also very time consuming

e: also if i ever wanted to use linux after building my computer i would boot up this one that i'm using.

Ive never used OSX, the only OS's I have used are Windows, Linux variants, and FreeBSD.

Now having said that, I use windows the most but like Linux the most.
