Murica Day 2013 (aka July 4th)

I'm curious, do any of you guys do stuff for the 4th of July?

We're going to my cousin's house in RI for a cookout-type shindig. We used to go on the 3rd, and see a Paw Sox minor league baseball game, but I think eventually we realized that none of us like baseball and stopped doing that.

So yeah. Do you guys do any shit for the 4th? Or do you just not care because it's a dumb holiday?

I ordinarily blow shit up and party like a rock--Party like a rock star. But this year EVERYBODY at work requested the 4th off, and I was late to request it off, so I get to work on the 4th this year... but heck yeah the 4th of july is fun.

I'll be picking up some little fireworks on my way to work, that way I can blow shit up in the parking lot when I'm on my break :) Plus last year this kid loved my fireworks and it made his day seeing the taco guy pull out handfuls of fireworks and start blowin shit up.

Ya'll better go blow shit up for me.

My extended family always visits my house which means I can't go to Walk's house argh and we all go see fireworks at night.

Today at work I got my lunch break at like 10pm, so I ran to the fireworks tent, picked out some fireworks, realized i left my money at work, ran back to work, ran back to the fireworks tent, bought the fireworks and ran back to the parking lot where I work and started blowin shit up like I was pissed at it.

I did actually run all of those places and I pulled both thigh muscles and strained my right foot. I guess my legs don't want to take the impact of 240 pounds of hippie ginger running everywhere...

And I have fireworks left over...and i'm drinking beer now. And life is good.

Happy Birthday, America. You aren't the best country, but you're my country. <3 I have never starved or been host to crazy diseases in this country...I've never been arrested. I've never been stabbed or mugged or raped. I've been pulled over many times and never given a ticket.. America is good to me.
