Feeling slightly better
I still have rectumloads of projects to do, but I'm happy because all of my friends that I've told about my dysphoria problem have been totally accepting of it. I may not have a great family, but I have amazing friends. This post was sort of meant as a thank-you to any of my friends who will read this as well as all of you on the website that have been supportive. I love you guys.

It's good that you're feeling at least a little better. We'll always be able to listen if you ever need to get anything off your chest.

i was going to make a boobs joke but you haven't started hormone replacement therapy and don't yet have plans to
also this would be the opposite of what you're trying to achieve.

if anyone's subhuman it's the motherfuckers who spout this kind of hateful shit at their own children

This.
I haven't said much on the situation because I feel as if it's none of my business but I'm... pretty weird sexuality/gender wise and luckily (or maybe unluckily) my parents haven't said much about it.
It's always upset me when I hear stories similar to your own about parents who basically disregard their child just for being who they are. Even though I don't really talk to you all that much at all, it upsets me slightly more since you're in our little forum gang.
I can only hope that your parents will become more accepting as time passes, even if it's just by a small amount. It's just hard on everyone, including yourself, when you first come out because they can only focus on whatever term it is that you used to describe yourself. Whether it be gay, transexual, or what the fuck ever. I don't fucking know, but the point is that for a while they're gonna be as stubborn as a bull. Eventually it will register that you still are in fact their child and remember in general how different you were before you came out. (Hint: Not very)

Re: Feeling slightly better
Walk, I am disappointed in your mom's callous judgment. You are the same person you were 2 months ago, and approx the same person you were 2 years ago. Sure ppl change, but you're still you. You're still that baby that was nurtured in her womb, still that kid she took pictures of and packed lunches for.
You're still her child... I'm with Jon here, if I ever had a child that came to me and said he was [insert gender/sexuality here] it'd be whatevs, that's cool. But to pass harsh judgment and even worse, to start name calling, is immature and uncalled for.
For a christian she sure doesn't know her bible stuff. It's up to God to judge you, and in fact, it is even sinful for her to pass judgment on you. That's God's #1 job other than keeping the universe from becoming an inverted imploding bowl of mashed potatoes.
You aren't subhuman, you are our friend Walkie, and you are tat's buddy/bandmate, and you're creative and funny and smart. Subhuman. *spit on the word* *wipe monitor*
I'm not a christian, and I have many unpleasant sinful things to say about your mom, but there's been enough namecalling. Some of us are trying to grow up and be decent to other humans.
