Strange thought patterns

My wife and I both find that when we're first waking up we think in songs. Not like we're especially creative during that period, in fact its kinda the opposite. Something will happen, some kind of noise or phrase will happen, and next thing you know we're thinking "oh like in that song.."

For instance, the other day I was like "fly away" or something so next thing you know she's singing zephyr song by the chili peppers. This morning I was having trouble finding socks so I was saying "i'm having difficulties.....figuring out which spice girl i wanna impregnate" and bam, My Name Is by Eminem straight to the brain.

Do you guys have strange thought patterns during certain times of days? Keep an eye on those thoughts and report back with any findings.

I talk to myself a lot. But other than that I don't really have any strange thought patterns. The strangest is when you're thinking of something, whether it be a word or a person or a phrase, and you happen to see that thing when you aren't even looking for it.
