Goin on vacation :D

Leaving friday for Orlando. Rahv will be AFK for like a week or so...but i'll have pics and stories to make up for my lost time :D bringing a journal to collect events :D

Today is the day before leaving...so naturally I'm busy as a one-armed paper hanger.

I have to fly today, that makes me nervous. I'm not afraid of heights, or of dying in a fiery fireball into a mountainside after one of the plane engines explodes and we spin out of control, but all those TSA agents? That's terrifying.

Oh and we're gonna quit smoking cigarettes on this vacation, we have e-cigs to replace the nicotine, but no more getting drunk and chainsmoking for me..and that's equally terrifying. Bought my last pack today, Newports :) Symbolic because they were the first cigarettes I bought :)

Perhaps terrifying is an exaggeration for these events, but these are things to cause some anxiety..Things are changing. Change is unnerving but essential.

have fun with your "quitting smoking" thing. i quit a few years back and i weaned myself off of e-cigs last year. it was an experience

Thanks for the well wishes, I expect this will be an experience. I've been smoking since I was 12, so that's like... a large portion of my life.

We are safely in Florida now :) That is good times.

Sadly, I'm as insomniac as they come :D Got 4 hours before we started traveling, traveled for like 14 hours, got another 2, and here we are or something. I'm very tired... but I'm alive and happy to be on vacation :)

For the first night we stayed at a Howard Johnson, I woke up(don't recall ever actually sleeping) at like 7 hoping there'd be some kinda complimentary coffee or something but no go. Time to go walk around the neighborhood and find coffee :)

Today we're going to Universal Studios in Orlando :D

Harry Potter Land here we come! Woot woot! wow...waking up at lie freakin 5:55am voluntarily on my vaycay..and to think...normally I'm still up now. (especially sinces its only like 2:55am) back home. Aktve and Level and I are sometimes still TT around now.

It's time for some da-da-da-daaa Vacation Stories!

Who wants to hear some vacation stories? (writing them regardless)

These stories are in no particular order.

STORY 1: Rahvin flips off an old woman.

So we were pulling out of a wal-mart parking lot one day, and there's a huge "NO LEFT TURNS" sign, so we take a right...turns out if you take that right turn, like the sign says, you get put on a toll road for 30 miles, which is a 60 mile(and $3.75) mistake. We made that mistake and it made us very frustrated and sad. So the next day we're pulling into that wal-mart and this old woman is pulling out, and she's making a left hand turn, and the way this is all set up this is very dangerous for us.

She is now breaking the same NO LEFT TURN thing that we followed the day before...and she almost hits us.. and she stops and starts screaming out her window to watch where we're going and we're like "you're in our lane, there's a big sign saying dont turn left cuz that puts you in our lane where we turn in" and shes like "move your ass!" and im like "fuck you" and flip her off.

The roads in Florida are built to confuse, distract, and annoy everyone. We wound up on a toll road where you had to pay a toll every 5 miles (even if there had been no exit).. essentially if you accidentally end up on one of these roads you can keep paying toll after toll until eventually you're lucky enough to find an exit, where you then have to pay another toll to get off.

Suppose we had no money and accidentally ended up on one...what the fuck to do? "I DIDN'T WANT THIS TURN ANYWAY!" just blowin through tolls gettin pulled over and arrested...tellin the judge "Your honor...all I wanted was to take a left..but signs and traffic forced me onto that toll road...and welp...9 unpaid tolls later here we are."

Very relaxing vacation so far, right? :D
