I followed the rules as far as I knew them :)
The thing that really just pissed me off was the instant-kick. I think we all know by now I can be reasonable, if they'd have expressed any discontent with the music I was playing I would've skipped my song and tried harder in the future.
Chill or Be Chilled kicked me outta their room without warning, but when I came back and promised to up my game they were cool with it and recognized that I'm a noob.
Hip Hop Central kicked me for playing Pony by Ginuwine. They said its not hip-hop or rap, which I agree its kinda not hip-hop but what genre is it a part of? Its got a band where nobody plays a real instrument, and some black guy does the vocals, that's hip-hop right? :P Anyway, they kicked me so I came back in and asked why they kicked me and this guy was like "BITCH BE CHILL" and I was like "I am bein chill, but why did you kick me? Why didn't you just communicate your dislike through the dislike button, or the chat log? Why instant-kick?"
So they banned me. So I got pissed because I was banned(perm ban, never allowed back in there) after spending like 4 hours there playing good music, one bad song is enough of an infraction to get kicked, then banned for questioning it? What kinda nazi leader does their room have?
So I created a new account. and another new account. and another. and another. and one more. I kept coming at this guy asking why he was banning me left and right, and right there are the very end of my night the leader said "if you just shut the fuck up for a minute I might unban your main account" so I stopped talking and went to bed.
Probably unbanned from there...but still 4 hours of good music, then one bitchy mod comes in with a bitchy attitude and starts banning people for life cuz he woke up with diarrhea or something, i dunno what his problem was.
Anyway, I'm mostly over it now, but you know.. I'm a mod too. Many of us here are mods, and not many of us just lose our shit and start banning half the people in the forum for nothing. He had an attitude problem and unfair judgment...I'd petition to have his modship removed but I doubt it would do anything. At this point the only thing to do is "bitch be chill" and never mention it.

Edit at 1:25am. I went back into that hip hop room and thanked that mod for unbanning me. All I said was "Thanks Gatsby :)" and...well...now I have a 24 hour ban from turntable.fm cuz dat bitch banned me again.
I guess if someone keeps banning you the website thinks you're a troll or a spambot.. so my account has 24 hr ban..
Guess I'll never get to step foot in at least one of the rooms again...which is sad because it was one of the rooms I frequented.

My account is Rahvmetsu. I cannot enter any rooms and according to the FAQ I may have been banned from the site.
I have a suspicion that I know who banned me, I think it was Gatsbythegreat from Hip Hop Central. Last night he kicked me without warning and I came back in and was unhappy. I expressed displeasure with him without swearing or namecalling, and he banned me from the room.
He's a mod of this room so he can do what he wants, but I was enjoying the music and wasn't causing problems. So I was banned, so I did what I knew I shouldn't do, I created an alternate account to talk with him and make peace so I could enjoy the music on my normal account and be part of their experience.
He unbanned my main account, Rahvmetsu, after much deliberation. Today I went into their room, and when I left the room I couldn't enter any other room.
I think he may have banned me again, thus making me appear as a spambot or troll. I assure you I'm not trying to troll anyone. Today the only thing I said was "Thanks Gatsby :)" and that was that. The end of my turntable.fm day.
I think he just hates me. But one person being sore with me while I have a room full of friends playing music shouldn't be cause for me to removed from the site..
There are other rooms that don't hate me, and I'd like to not be banned from them as well..
I think I've included all of the important details regarding this matter..

Hey, saw your forum post and decided to register.
I love turntable but you're totally right. I've been to that room and that mod is a jackass and does that all of the time. Both of the popular hip-hop rooms are like that except rooms like Hater Free R&B and Hip-Hop.
Don't let that discourage you from using the site though, it's great outside of people like him.
