I don't really get how people think liking this is ok.
Can somebody tell me why this child's show is so appealing?

I don't think it's not okay to like the show, I just don't understand how people can actually like the show.

It happens all too often.

I accept bronies, and was outraged as fuck when they shut down the MLP thread on NG. A forum is a place for people to discuss what they're interested in, and to shut down a huge fad like MLP just because its retarded as fuck is rude.

I don't like it, but I do like phineas and ferb... plenty of people don't like that. I love adventure time, and plenty of people hate it, and I'd be sad if someone shut down my opportunity to connect with others who share similar views.

I praised the NG staff when they approved the C&C thread for the bronies, it keeps them out of General which cuts down on the hate they get, and we don't have to see that stuff every day.

I also love and respect Level, or whoever she is now, and she can watch whatever she wants without judgment from me.

(anyone notice I never really accepted level is a guy? Denial with a capital D :P)

I am not a fan of MLP but I am generally neutral towards bronies or MLP fans. Though unfortunately the only Brony I've met IRL is slightly creepy and lied about his age to a bunch of people. O_O

I watched the entire first season. I liked it cause it was cute. I tried watching the second season but I got kinda sick of it. I don't watch it anymore.

I don't care if someone likes it, but the fans are the worst thing since cancer. Never have I seen such an obnoxious and grating fanbase.

I agree with petro. The ones on newgrounds are dicks. I mean, not all of them but most. Jesus Christ. That damn tox.

It's cute, it's funny, and it's packed with a bunch of pop culture refrences and lesbian implications that only the older audience would notice. The main problem of the fandom is that a good portion show their power levels in public and are way too proud to be doing so. The other, of course, would be the newfags who dwell of the idea of 'Love and Tolerance' and OMG JOIN THE HERD LOLOL XDXD.

Recently, some sad motherfuckers raised a ridiculous amount of money in just 4 days, I think, in order to get a 30 second commercial on The HUB, where they basically just make Bronies look worse than they already are by asking the public to 'Join the Herd', along with thanking the MLP staff.

Shit like that has got to stop.
