so tvtropes is cleaning their shit up because fast eddie finally realized that the website is full of awful people BUT IT'S CURRENTLY FALLING APART AT THE SEAMS PAST THE POINT OF NO RETURN

the title for the thread of cleanup was originally "Perversity Clean-Up (No Prudishness Please)" and consisted of tropers endlessly debating whether something was bad or not which takes forever because goddamn tropers love to argue

i made an account to put input despite cries of "goddamn it you're not gonna help anything tvtropes will just destroy itself" directed to everyone reading the SA thread and also directed to me by someone on the #tropers channel who i think is a goon

this was my first post. as you can see i try to be civil and nice to tropers despite them not really deserving it.

so i suggested a solution.

"But, shouldn't you add a disclaimer behind works that could be considered more raunchy and less SFW to prevent people from accidentally stumbling upon something that they might find sickening? I don't mean PG-13 rated slightly objectionable stuff, I mean the word salad multiple-long-adjectives porn that the general public (myself included) WILL think is wrong."

and they argued with me on it before i personally cut that shit off because i don't have the patience to argue with tropers without insulting all of them and getting banned isnt my goal

the story continues today, where the subtitle was changed to "Zero Pedo Tolerance" and so i posted this. then someone decides to argue AGAIN because idk and the argument will go on

discuss, criticize decisions made by either me or the tvtropes

Also "As I've mentioned before if we have to cut works like Lolita and Blackbird than The bible and Greek Mythology would also have to be cut as both have their "heroes" in relationships we now consider pedophilic."

also that thread is about as long as somethingawful's thread in terms of pages now, and with much less progress as far as their goal is concerned, now tvtropes is just deleting fucking everything

too many changes, and changes that the community would endlessly bitch over and try to find loopholes around it as much as possible because quite a bit of the community wants a place where they can keep their loli pedo whatever porn

Not listing off examples of loli fanservice would be a step in the right direction.

there is no step in the right direction for these guys, they ban pedophilia and they make a council who will try to overthrow said decision and make it run rampant again

I'm quite glad that I only read tvtropes, not get involved in whatever the fuck these people are doing.
