it was fucking awesome. Everything they cut out was relatively unimportant to the story or it made perfect sense that they would cut that out, everything they changed helped the story a bit, every bit was perfect-they captured the characters emotions well, and despite peoples complaints about the camera work, I thought they did a good job and it was fitting. They were artistic about it, even. Nothing about the movie disappointed me. It was surprisingly good.

I read the first book and it was pretty good
I was going to see it this weekend but I decided to wait a week or two so the theater wouldn't be stuffed

hahahahahahaha the internet cracks me up and makes me sad at the same time
anyway i thought the movie was amazing too, and it totally deserves being in the top 3 highest-grossing opening weekends ever of all time
i liked how they were able to describe the gamemaking process better in the movie since it's obviously not in first person because that would be cloverfield

Besides the main character being horrifically average, the movie was great, no complaints.

well yeah, like an eighth of the teenage population is too busy thinking about how "books r gay lol" to actually try reading one. When you have an excellent story that's made into a movie, people's curiosity is piqued and they might become interested in reading the books, or they might want to know what happens next.
