And I'm not an atheist, I don't believe in the Christian/Catholic Gods (both are the same since one religion is an offshoot of the other imo), but I do believe there is a God that exists for the bible but was described HORRIBLY WRONG by the people that made the religion(s) what it is now.
If God gave me the ability to question, but expects to not question him, he is an imperfect god. If God gave me free will but damns me for the choice of not following him, he is not a good God. If God says to fight evil where ever it may be, but threatens his creation with his wrath, he is a hypocrite.
If he says he loves me & is capable of BOUNDLESS FORGIVENESS, but sends me to Hell, then he DOESN'T HAVE "BOUNDLESS FORGIVENESS"!
Boundless Forgiveness is exactly like a Jew who witnessed his/her entire family (including children) get butchered in the most horrific way imaginable by a truly evil Nazi, then later that Jew forgives the person despite all the truly horrific hings that person did. THAT is Boundless Forgiveness. Exactly like when the Pope (one of previous ones) was nearly assassinated and the pope visits the person who tried to kill him (almost succeeded too), forgives him, and asks the law for his pardon.
What would God do if he was the Jew or the pope? According to the bible, he wouldn't give it a second thought, immediate trip to hell.
