Books you are reading and/or want to read

I just started reading Animal Farm by George Orwell. It's pretty good so far.
After that, I'm not sure what I'll move on to, but I want to finish Grendel, Hyperbole and a Half Book, Brave New World, and Moby Dick, and I'd like to read Catcher in the Rye, For Whom The Bell Tolls, and White Teeth, as well as rereading 1984 and possibly Siddhartha. I'm incredibly ambitious.

I'd also like to read some of the lore-oriented books in the LotR universe. I watched (most, we didn't quite finish Return of the King) of the extended LotR movies with my girlfriend this past weekend, and I found that I was captivated with the lore much more so than the previous times I had watched the films. I don't know too much about the series, but I think The Silmarillion covers a lot of Lore, so I'm probably going to go to the book store to pick it up sometime soon.
